Well everybody, One-Core-API has a new development mechanism. Now, follow Wine development guideline: bi-weekendly minor releases with frequent commits on Git. And, kernel32 wrapper will be restrutured. I will manage to remake dll,, with essential functions on demand. First, we need a stable kernel32 wrapper. Functions will be readded after. You can make a list of essential functions for current programs.

Hello! I found a bug in your One-Core-Api pack, downloaded from your shorthorn site. I had tested under Shorthorn 3804 x86, after copying files the system crashed after boot, with BSOD:
I figured out, that if I leave the setupapi.dll as original, the system will boot up. I had checked the pack with a java installer, and the installer crashed, but before the One-Core-Api patch, simply printed that is not supporting this OS.
Sorry for my english, I want to help you in this project if I can.

It's a pleasant surprise that the site's still up. I hope the dev hasn't forgotten about this.

Install guide would be nice on existing Win XP Pro (32) installation I downloaded one-core-api binaries from downloadwww32.adrive.com/public/view/SgS7rU.html, but I have no idea where to put the files in an existing Windows XP installation because there is no installer included and the directory structure does not match the existing Windows XP installation. In addition there are many additional files which are not present in an official Windows XP installation. Does anyone have any guidance on this? I need to get a specific program working on a Windows XP PC remotely so I can't experiment extensively and I don't want to ruin the existing installation. If this weren't a remote installation, I would just backup files and migrate the PC to Linux.

I don't understand how the api works, do the builds on the shorthorn site already have the compatibility api or do I still need to apply it to the installed system? I asked because I tried to install the api on shorthorn builds, on xp sp2 x64 and every time the system crashed.
